View original imageFormer Blue House administrator Lee Jaejong has published a collection of illustrated poems that captures the representative tourist attractions of his hometown, Damyang in Jeollanam-do, through poetry and artwork, drawing attention.
Lee's book, "Damyang Market Day," is themed "How about a New Year's trip to Damyang?" and consists of poems describing twelve travel destinations in the county, accompanied by illustrations from his daughter, a second-year middle school student.
The book also includes a story about the "Damyang Pyeongsang at Pyeongsan," a bench from Damyang that former President Moon Jaein is using at his residence in Yangsan.
Lee is known as a campaign strategy expert who has worked in local politics for over 20 years and has served as a communication channel for the Honam region from Moon's presidential candidacy through to the present after his retirement.
The publication celebration will be held at 2 p.m. on the 8th at the Damyang Cultural Center.
On the 4th, Lee said, "Although my writing skills are lacking, I wanted to promote Damyang nationwide, and I created this illustrated poetry book so that even young students can read it easily. I poured my wish for people to pay more attention to and love Damyang's future into this book," expressing his thoughts on the publication.
