Flitto Supplies 'AI-Based Multilingual Interpretation and Translation System' to 8 Gwangju Bank Branches
AI language data specialist Flitto announced on the 4th that it will provide an AI-based real-time multilingual interpretation and translation system to eight branches of Gwangju Bank.
The AI interpretation and translation solution introduced by Gwangju Bank is called ‘Chat Translation Enterprise.’ It supports 38 languages in real time, including English, Chinese, Japanese, as well as Vietnamese, Thai, and Malay. This enables smooth global communication between branch staff and foreign customers in their native languages.
The system was developed as a customized solution for Gwangju Bank to provide efficient service. For frequently used customer service phrases, users can easily and conveniently send multilingual messages by simply clicking buttons embedded within the app. The speech recognition accuracy for Jeonnam regional dialects has also been improved, making communication smooth even for elderly customers who may have difficulty communicating.
Foreign students residing in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions can use financial services such as tuition payment more easily without language barriers. More than 6,000 foreign workers in the Gwangju and Jeonnam areas can also conduct banking transactions in their native languages at nearby branches.
