Lyrics raising awareness about crimes such as persuading others or secretly giving drugs were also added, emphasizing the meaning of "Let's create a healthy world without drug crimes."
An official from the provincial police agency explained, "With the cheerful rhythm, easy-to-follow choreography, and repetitive melody, viewers naturally find themselves singing along and feel the plea to never even start using drugs."
According to the provincial police agency, the number of drug offenders arrested in the Gyeongnam area over the past three years was 563 in 2022, 829 in 2023, and 722 in 2024.
The official added, "Drug-related crimes have been increasing nationwide recently and are now invading our daily lives, causing harm. We hope that anyone watching this video who might be struggling will boldly shake off the temptation of drugs."
The provincial police agency plans to use this video for internal and external education within the Gyeongnam Police Agency and the Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical Association, as well as promotional materials on social networking services (SNS).
