Online video service (OTT) Netflix will release five 30-minute K-variety show contents every week.
Netflix announced its K-variety lineup on the 3rd. The first show is the cooking talk show 'Jugwan Sikdang,' which will be released every Saturday starting from the 22nd of this month. It is a cooking talk show where Choi Kang-rok and Moon Sang-hoon create unique subjective dishes without a fixed menu, with new guests appearing every week. The show is directed by PD Chae Song-yi of TEO, a production company founded by PD Kim Tae-ho.
Starting from the 23rd, every Sunday will feature 'Do Driver: In Search of the Lost Screw.' It is a variety show reuniting KBS2 variety show 'Hong Kim Dongjeon' PD Park In-seok with Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung, Jo Se-ho, Joo Woo-jae, and Jang Woo-young. From the 24th, every Monday, singer and broadcaster Defconn will explore clubs in 'Dongmisae: The Newbie Crazy About Clubs.' PD Kim Jae-won and PD Park Soo-ji of 'Solo Hell' teamed up with writer Lee Jung-hwa for this show.
From the 26th, every Wednesday will feature Choo Sung-hoon's talk show 'Churai Churai.' Produced by Kakao Entertainment and directed by PD Kwon Dae-hyun of 'Truth or Setting: Elegant Life.' Starting from the 27th, every Thursday will bring 'Michin Matjip: Gourmet Friend's Favorite Restaurants,' starring singer Sung Si-kyung and Goro-san (Matsushige Yutaka) from 'Kodokuna Gourmet.'
