Seosan City Hosts National Contest for Cheonsuman Wild Bird Photography

View original imageSeosan City in Chungnam Province announced on the 31st that it will hold the "2025 Seosan Cheonsuman Wild Bird Photo National Contest" with the theme of wild birds photographed in Cheonsuman.
The contest is organized to promote the excellence of the Seosan Cheonsuman ecosystem, where the number and species of wild birds have been increasing recently, through the works of professional photographers.
Each participant may submit up to four entries by August 30 of this year, either by mail or in person to the Seosan Branch of the Korea Photographers Association.
The city will select a total of 51 works, and the selected works and photographers will be announced on September 2 through the official websites of Seosan City and Seosan Birdland.
In addition, prize money and certificates will be awarded as follows: Grand Prize 2 million KRW (1 entry), Silver Prize 1 million KRW (2 entries), Bronze Prize 500,000 KRW (3 entries), and Honorable Mention 100,000 KRW (45 entries).
Shim Youngbok, Director of the Seosan Birdland Office, said, "The winning works will be exhibited at the 14th Seosan Asia Bird Expo in 2025," adding, "We will do our best to widely promote and preserve the beautiful ecosystem of Seosan Cheonsuman."
