Toyota Tops Global Sales for 5 Consecutive Years... Volume Down 3.7%
Japan's Toyota Motor Group has secured the world's number one spot in sales for five consecutive years, Kyodo News reported on the 30th.
Toyota Motor's announced group new car sales reached 10.82 million units, a 3.7% decrease from the record high of 11.23 million units in 2023.
However, this figure is still 1 million units more than the German Volkswagen Group (approximately 9.03 million units), which was competing for the top position.
Toyota reclaimed the world's number one spot in new car sales in 2020 after five years and has maintained the top position for five consecutive years through last year.
