Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, inspected the operation status by visiting active agencies operating the comprehensive situation room in preparation for the Lunar New Year holiday, the largest ethnic holiday, starting from the 25th.

County Governor Namcheol Lee urged, “During the long holiday, please do your best in your respective positions so that not only the visitors returning to their hometowns but also the residents can feel safe and enjoy the holiday with their families.”

Goryeong-gun plans to operate the comprehensive situation room with over 150 personnel across 9 teams, including the disaster and accident management team, from the 25th to the 30th of this month when the Lunar New Year holiday begins, to prepare for various safety accidents and emergencies during the holiday period.
