A man in his 60s falls to death while repairing a retaining wall at a factory in Gimhae
A worker repairing a retaining wall at a manufacturing company in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, fell to his death.
According to the Gimhae Jungbu Police Station on the 23rd, a man in his 60s, Mr. A, who was repairing cracks in a retaining wall at an auto parts company in Sangdong-myeon, Gimhae City, fell from a 5-meter-high retaining wall at 11:38 a.m. on the 21st.
Mr. A was taken to the hospital for treatment but ultimately passed away.
The Yangsan branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor reportedly issued a work stoppage order to the company immediately after the accident.
