Pohang City set its own target of 62%, which is 8% higher than the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's original goal of 54%, aiming to execute 1.045 trillion KRW out of the total 1.6854 trillion KRW in the first half of the year to revitalize the struggling local economy.
To strategically focus on projects with significant ripple effects, administrative efforts will be concentrated on ▲ prioritizing budget and fund allocation for rapid execution target projects ▲ intensive management of progress and execution status for large-scale investment projects over 1 billion KRW ▲ thorough preparation for pre-administrative procedures.
Additionally, by actively utilizing the 'Rapid Execution Utilization Guidelines' and 'Temporary Special Measures for Local Contracts' (such as emergency bidding, advance payments, progress payments, and advance notification systems), full efforts will be made to promote rapid execution, while actively identifying difficulties arising from delays in administrative procedures by departments and delays in national fund disbursement.
