Recruitment of Students for the Original Downtown Commercial District Revitalization Food Service Industry Common Education Course

Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 23rd that, as part of the urban regeneration project to revitalize the original downtown commercial district, it will open the "Original Downtown Commercial District Revitalization Food Service Industry Common Education" course in collaboration with The Born Korea Food Service Industry Development Institute and recruit students.

The food service industry common education will be conducted through three sessions and on-site visits. The main contents include lectures on ways to revitalize market commercial districts, menu development theory and store activation, business plan writing methods, and benchmarking of the Yesan Market case (on-site visit).

The application period for this education is until Friday, the 31st. Eligibility includes food service workers (merchants), prospective food service entrepreneurs, and local residents interested in the food service industry. Participation is possible not only from Yeoju but also from neighboring cities and counties.

Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the Yeoju City Hall website and sending it via email, visiting the Yeoju Urban Regeneration Support Center in person, or applying online.

The announcement of selected participants is scheduled for February 5, and the education period will be from February 17 to March 14. The education venue will be held at the Yeoju Sejong Library Yeomin Hall.
