Filite Achieves Top Market Share in Sparkling Liquor
Over 300 Million Cans Sold Last Year,
Cumulative Sales Surpass 2.27 Billion Cans
Hite Jinro announced on January 23 that "Filite" ranked first in market share in the domestic sparkling liquor market last year. Since its second year on the market in 2018, Filite has sold more than 300 million cans (355mL each) annually, reaching a cumulative total of 2.27 billion cans sold as of January 2.
According to the market research firm Nielsen Korea, based on cumulative sales in 2024, Filite maintained its position as the top-selling sparkling liquor brand in Korea, outselling the second-ranked brand by more than 3.4 times. Last year, Filite secured the number one spot in sales across all five major retail channels in the domestic home market: independent supermarkets, convenience stores, hypermarkets, cooperative marts, and chain supermarkets.
Hite Jinro plans to further strengthen its presence in the overall alcoholic beverage market this year, building on Filite's solid position. The company will target consumer preferences by launching edition products for the home market that reflect diverse alcoholic beverage needs, and will continue to expand Filite Fresh Draft-the first sparkling liquor of its kind-within the entertainment market.
