The district invested a total of about 1.7 billion KRW to install a membrane structure covering 2,100㎡ on 3 of the 18 outdoor courts. The double-membrane ventilation design allows for natural ventilation, and the material is highly translucent and economical. Through this, Mokdong Tennis Courts have transformed into an all-weather sports facility equipped with both indoor and outdoor courts.
On the 25th at 11 a.m., the district will hold an opening ceremony for the indoor courts at Mokdong Tennis Courts, celebrating the newly renovated indoor tennis facility with about 100 attendees including officials from the Yangcheon-gu Sports Council and Tennis Association. Official operations will begin on the 1st of next month, and usage is available through advance reservation on the Yangcheon-gu Facilities Management Corporation website.
