On the 21st, Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) held a meaningful event in the mayor's office to celebrate the Lunar New Year, where 12 children from Dahamkke Care Center Branch 1 (Director Shin Yeon-cheol), Branch 2 (Director Woo Kyung-hee), Ohhak Branch (Director Kim Hye-ryeon), LH Branch (Director Lee Mi-hyun), and Gyodong Branch (Director Lee Joo-won) gathered to exchange New Year greetings, reflect on the significance of the Lunar New Year, and strengthen bonds with the local community.

View original imageAccording to Yeoju City on the 22nd, the children from Dahamkke Care Center visited the mayor's office dressed in beautiful hanbok and read aloud handwritten letters they made themselves, containing messages such as "Happy New Year" and "Thank you for creating the care center," allowing their voices to be directly conveyed to the mayor and creating a warm Lunar New Year atmosphere. Mayor Lee Chung-woo wrote and delivered blessing cards to the five Dahamkke Care Centers, wishing that "the children remain bright, healthy, and get along well in the new year."
The children asked Mayor Lee Chung-woo questions related to the Lunar New Year, shared their New Year wishes, and talked about their life at the care centers. The mayor expressed his gratitude and gave the children lucky pouches filled with snacks.
