The fire was extinguished in about 30 minutes by the fire authorities who responded to the report.
The interior of one shop was burned, and part of the ceiling of a nearby shop was damaged. There were no casualties.
The fire authorities believe the fire was caused by an electrical factor and are investigating the exact cause and the extent of the damage.
