Trot, Acoustic Guitar, Gugak, and Magic Performances at Gyeongju Bomun Tourist Complex... Gyeongbuk Tourism Organization Hosts Lunar New Year Event
Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation (President Kim Nam-il) will hold various Lunar New Year events from the 25th to the 30th for six days at Bomun Lakeside Plaza, Gyeongju Expo Park, and Yugo Land in the Bomun Tourist Complex to celebrate the Year of the Eulsa (乙巳).
From the 28th to the 30th, the "2025 Eulsa Year Lunar New Year Event" (Subtitle: Eolssa (乙巳) Hug and Eolsu Good!) will be held at Bomun Lakeside Plaza.
Main performances will include acoustic guitar, popera, trot, and traditional Korean music, along with family recreation and other tourist participation content. Additionally, there will be experience zones where visitors can directly enjoy activities such as writing family mottos, balloon art, tarot New Year fortune-telling, and traditional folk games.
At Gyeongju Expo Park, the "Cheongsa (靑蛇) and Lunar New Year Festival" event will take place from the 26th to the 30th.
Five traditional games including Yutnori will be available in the play area. Various busking performances such as magic shows will be held once or twice daily at 1:20 PM and 2:00 PM. On-site events will also offer small prizes, providing enjoyable moments for family visitors.
Furthermore, visitors wearing traditional costumes from the 21 APEC participating countries can enter the park free of charge. The "Eulsa GO Event," which offers a 50% discount to those born in the Year of the Snake, those with the character "Sa" in their name, and those wearing hanbok, will continue until February 2nd.
At Yugo Land, operated under consignment by Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation, a 2,000 KRW discount on admission fees will be offered from the 25th to the 30th, excluding the closed day on the 29th. Free admission will be granted to visitors born in the Year of the Snake, those whose names include "Cheong" or "Sa," and those wearing hanbok.
On the 28th, from 1 PM to 5 PM, various experiential events such as calligraphy family motto writing, face painting, and balloon art will be held to help visitors to Yugo Land enjoy a rich holiday experience.
