Gyeonggi-do Initiates AI Automation for Media, Audit, and Legal Administration Tasks
Gyeonggi Province is expanding the construction of an ‘Automated Work Process (RPA) System’ operated by artificial intelligence (AI) programs to improve the efficiency of simple and repetitive administrative tasks.
On the 21st, Gyeonggi Province held a kickoff meeting for the ‘AI Automated Work Process System Expansion Project’ at the Gwanggyo Provincial Government Complex in Suwon, sharing cases introduced last year in the fields of transportation, environment, construction, and local administration, and discussing the implementation plans and management measures for projects to be promoted this year.
At the meeting, Gyeonggi Province reported that it improved work efficiency through AI-based automation such as analyzing congestion rates by metropolitan bus routes for simple and repetitive tasks and automating general affairs, and decided to expand the project.
Earlier, in December last year, Gyeonggi Province selected the media, audit, and legal administration sectors as new project areas suitable for AI automation through a demand survey and internal discovery process targeting all departments of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government.
