Daeyu Atek Donates to Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign
Employees Join in Donating Bazaar Proceeds
On the 20th, Daeyu Atech Co., Ltd. held a commemorative photo session after the employee donation ceremony for the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign.' Provided by Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
View original imageGwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 20th that Daewoo A-Tech Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwon Euikyung) has donated 9,780,000 KRW to the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign.
The donation ceremony held at Daewoo A-Tech was attended by Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Ha Yeonhwa, Head of Management Support and Safety & Health at Daewoo A-Tech, Seo Gihyun, Chairman of the Daewoo A-Tech Labor Union, and Bae Hanul, Supervisor of the Production Management Team at Daewoo A-Tech.
This donation was raised voluntarily by employees through operating a bazaar and a sharing market.
Of the total amount, 1,637,000 KRW was collected from the proceeds of a bazaar where employees voluntarily gathered items and sold them, and this amount was donated under the company’s name rather than individually.
Ha Yeonhwa stated, “We participated with the hope that neighbors in the Gwangju community will have a year full of hope,” and added, “We will continue to strive to spread the value of sharing in the local community.”
Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, said, “I would like to express my deep gratitude to the employees of Daewoo A-Tech who are working hard for the welfare of the community,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that your goodwill is fully delivered to our neighbors.”
