Administrative Mutual Aid Association Holds 50th Anniversary Celebration Event
The Administrative Mutual Aid Association announced on the 20th that it will hold a commemorative event to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The event will take place on the 23rd at 2 p.m. in the Royal Hall of the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Attendees include officials from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Kang Seong-jo, President of the Korea Local Tax Research Institute, heads of related organizations, Shin Yong-su, an operations committee member, and Song Sang-jae, chairman of the Budget and Settlement Subcommittee.
The event is organized to review the 50-year history, re-examine achievements, and promote and share the contents both internally and externally. The main agenda includes ▲history report ▲presentation of the 50-year anniversary book ▲screening of award-winning works from the 30-second film festival ▲commendation of contributors ▲declaration of the 2030 vision ▲unveiling of the new CI ▲popera performance by La Dolce, among others.
Last year, the Administrative Mutual Aid Association also launched a special 50th-anniversary short-term installment savings product for the first time. The product is named ‘50th Anniversary Special Edition Short-Term Installment Savings,’ with an interest rate of 5.0% per annum (fixed). It was launched at an interest rate 1.56 percentage points higher than the average interest rate of 3.44% for savings banks’ regular installment savings over the past 12 months, to provide tangible benefits to members who contributed to the growth and development of the association over the past 50 years. The subscription period is 50 days until the 25th of next month. Subscriptions can be made in units of 10,000 KRW from 50,000 KRW to 500,000 KRW.
In addition, various benefits will be provided to members to commemorate the 50th anniversary. The ‘Super Special Price’ welfare program, a 50% discount purchase event on daily necessities to ease members’ household burdens, will be promoted twice in total, and a new ‘Domestic Travel Support’ welfare program that supports 50% of accommodation costs will also be introduced.
Collaborating with excellent local medical institutions, a ‘Special Member Health Checkup Support’ welfare program will be promoted, which includes a health checkup program exclusively for retirees (special members) and covers 50% of the costs.
Member welfare facilities will also hold 50th-anniversary celebration events. At ‘The Scratch,’ a buffet restaurant located on the 16th floor of Hotel Intercity, a 50% discount for members on their birthday (20% discount for companions) will be offered for 10 months from the 1st of next month until November 30, and a 30% discount for members and companions will be provided throughout next month. At Jungwon Golf Course, from the 24th of this month to the 28th of next month, all members in the rounding team will receive a ‘coffee coupon and colored balls’ as gifts.
Kim Jang-hoe, Chairman of the Administrative Mutual Aid Association, stated, “Although the scale is not large amid the turbulent internal and external environment, we have prepared a substantial commemorative event to mark the 50th anniversary,” and added, “We will do our best to become an Administrative Mutual Aid Association that achieves stable and sustainable development in the future without being satisfied with past achievements.”
