Iksan City Recruiting 123 Participants for Public Job Program
Applications Accepted at Town, Township, and District Administrative Welfare Centers from the 20th to the 24th
Iksan City in North Jeolla Province is recruiting a total of 123 participants for the Dairo-um Job Project and the Community Job Project for the first half of 2025.
According to the city on the 17th, the Dairo-um Job Project is recruiting 97 people in the environmental maintenance sector. Participants will work four hours a day, five days a week, at parks, sports facilities, industrial complexes, and public facilities.
The Community Job Project is recruiting 26 people, who will work five hours a day, five days a week, on projects such as supporting multicultural families, utilizing tourism resources, and recycling abandoned bicycles.
Eligibility requires Iksan citizens who are at least 18 years old as of the application date, are able to work, and are members of vulnerable employment groups. Applicants will be selected after a review of their assets, income, and other qualifications, and those hired will work for four months from March to June.
Applications can be submitted in person with an ID card at the administrative welfare center of the applicant's town, township, or district from the 20th to the 24th. For more details, refer to the official notices on the Iksan City website.
Mayor Jung Heon-yul stated, "We are operating public job projects to support the livelihood stability and economic recovery of citizens struggling due to the economic downturn and job shortages," and added, "We will also do our best to ensure a safe working environment."
