Eligible applicants for the Successor Agricultural Manager Support Project are individuals aged 18 or older but under 50, who have been independently managing a farm for less than 10 years (including those planning to start independent management). Selected applicants can receive up to 500 million KRW in policy funds per household for up to 5 years.

The policy funds are provided at a fixed annual interest rate of 1.5%, with a 5-year grace period and equal principal repayment over 20 years. The funds can be used for purchasing farmland, installing facilities, or buying agricultural trucks.

Eligible applicants for the Young Farmer Settlement Support Project are individuals aged 18 or older but under 40, who have been independently managing a farm for less than 3 years (including those planning to start independent management). Selected young farmers will receive a monthly settlement support payment ranging from 900,000 KRW to 1.1 million KRW for up to 3 years, depending on their farming experience.

In addition, if policy funds are needed, they can be supported under the same conditions as the Successor Agricultural Manager Support Project.

County Governor Choi Hunsik said, "These support projects will serve as an important foundation for enhancing the county's agricultural competitiveness and creating a sustainable agricultural environment for future generations. We hope for the active interest and participation of passionate successor agricultural managers and young farmers."

Those wishing to apply can submit their application forms and supporting documents online through the Agricultural Project Information System. Successor agricultural managers will be selected through a document review, while young farmers will go through both a document review and an interview. Final selections will be made in April.
