Buan County Recruits Participants for 'Youth Housing Cost Support Program'
Applications Accepted from July 5 to 7
Up to 100,000 KRW per Month in Support
Buan-gun, North Jeolla Province, will be recruiting participants for the '2025 Youth Housing Cost Support Project' from July 5 to 7.
According to the county on the 16th, this project aims to support the housing and living stability of youth in vulnerable housing situations by providing either interest on Jeonse deposit loans or monthly rent assistance.

View original imageThe eligible age range for support is 19 to 45 years old. For monthly rent support, applicants must have a household income of 150% or less of the standard median income, but for single-person households, up to 180% of the standard median income is allowed. The support period is up to four years, so many young people are expected to benefit.
Selected participants will receive up to 100,000 KRW per month in housing cost support for 12 months. The support funds will be provided in lump sums in June and December after verifying the application documents every six months.
A county official stated, "This project is being implemented with funds raised through the Hometown Love Fund, and we will actively support more young people to ease their housing cost concerns and settle in the county stably."
Meanwhile, since the project was first implemented in North Jeolla Province in 2021, a total of 191 young people have benefited from it up to last year, receiving great response. This year, the county plans to select and support a total of 65 participants.
