"Visiting Parents but Called Runaway"... Yulhee Completely Denies Choi Minhwan's Allegations
"Sleeping 20 hours? That's not reasonable"
"Choi Minhwan's drinking habits and visits to entertainment venues caused me great stress"
"Not worth refuting... I will speak in court"
FT Island's Choi Min-hwan revealed details about his married life with Laboum's Yulhee, claiming that "the reasons for their divorce were Yulhee's running away from home and her sleeping habits." In response, Yulhee denied the claims, stating, "Choi Min-hwan's assertions are not true."
On the 15th, Star News reported, "Yulhee completely denied the recent claims made by Choi Min-hwan." According to Star News, Yulhee first addressed the allegation that she "slept 18 to 20 hours a day," saying, "That would mean I was only awake for 4 hours a day, which is an unreasonable statement."

Yulhee further expressed, "During our marriage, I was actually very stressed due to Choi Min-hwan's excessive drinking habits and visits to entertainment establishments," revealing, "I first found out about his visits to such places in 2022. It was hard to endure."
Additionally, she stated, "I do not agree with the criticism that I was neglectful in childcare," and said, "I judged that it was not worth refuting Choi Min-hwan's one-sided claims." It is known that Yulhee immediately prepared an official statement in response to Choi Min-hwan's revelations but informed her agency that she no longer wanted to engage in a public battle that would increase public fatigue. As they have three children, she felt burdened by frequently exposing their parental conflicts and wanted to focus solely on custody matters. It is reported that she decided to address the issue in court rather than through a public statement.
Yulhee has currently filed a mediation request against Choi Min-hwan, seeking a change of custody, alimony, and division of property. According to Article 10 of the Family Litigation Act, it is prohibited to publish or broadcast any facts or photos in newspapers, magazines, or other publications that could reasonably identify the person involved by name, age, occupation, or appearance in cases handled or being handled by the family court. Accordingly, Yulhee is reportedly considering legal action, claiming that "Choi Min-hwan violated the Family Litigation Act."
