Iksan City Accepts Applications for Environmental Improvement Projects for Apartment Complexes and Security Workers
Until the 12th of Next Month... Up to 1 Million KRW Per Household
Support for Window Replacement, Heating System Maintenance, and More
Iksan City, North Jeolla Province, announced on the 15th that it will accept applications for the 'Apartment Complex Support Project' and the 'Security Worker Work Environment Improvement Project' until the 12th of next month.
The Apartment Complex Support Project targets apartment complexes that have been in use for more than 10 years since inspection. The support amount is limited to a maximum of 1 million KRW per household, with a total cap of 30 million KRW. For complexes with fewer than 10 households, the maximum support is 10 million KRW.
The support covers repairs and improvements to internal roads and parking lots, as well as facilities such as streetlights, water and sewage systems, city gas supply facilities, playgrounds, and other shared and auxiliary facilities. Stone embankments and retaining walls at risk of disaster are also included.
The city is taking the lead not only in enhancing residents' convenience but also in promoting the human rights and working conditions of security workers.
Through the Security Worker Work Environment Improvement Project, support is provided for wallpaper and flooring replacement, structural repairs, painting and waterproofing, window replacement, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems in work and rest areas.
The support limit is up to 5 million KRW per complex, and each apartment complex can apply only once. Unauthorized buildings are excluded from eligibility.
Apartment complexes wishing to participate should apply to the Housing Division by the 12th of next month. After receiving applications, the city will conduct document reviews, on-site inspections, and evaluations by the Apartment Complex Support Review Committee to select recipients. However, apartment complexes that have previously received support are excluded from selection for three years.
For more details, please refer to the announcements section on the Iksan City website.
A city official stated, "We will do our best to provide citizens with a pleasant and safe residential environment," and added, "We will make further efforts to improve the working environment to enhance the human rights and treatment of security workers."
