Kim Dong-yeon "Now, Supplementary Budget Is Urgently Needed, Not Early Budget Execution"
Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, criticized the current government for only talking about early budget execution this year without mentioning the supplementary budget, calling it a deceptive trick to fool the public.
At the '2025 New Year Press Conference' held at a restaurant in Suwon on the 13th, Governor Kim said, "This year, with a 3.2% economic growth and tight fiscal policy, they are talking about early budget execution," warning the government that "this is nothing but a deceptive trick."
He continued, "After the Yoon Seok-yeol administration took office, they implemented a supplementary budget exceeding 60 trillion won, yet throughout their term, they have maintained tight fiscal policies under the pretext of sound finance," he pointed out.
