Yeoncheon-gun Imposes Regular Registration License Tax... 11,923 Cases Notified
Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province announced on the 10th that it has imposed and notified 11,923 cases of regular registration license tax (license) for January 2025, amounting to 158.72 million KRW.
The registration license tax (license) is imposed on those holding a license as of January 1 each year. The types of licenses are classified from Type 1 to Type 5 according to the scale and type of business, and the tax amount varies from 4,500 KRW to 27,000 KRW depending on the type.
Businesses that have been closed for more than one year or have reported closure to the National Tax Service are exempt from the registration license tax (license), but must separately apply for license cancellation with the administrative authority in charge of permits. If the business closed after January 1 of this year, the registration license tax (license) for this year must be paid.
The payment period for the registration license tax (license) is from the 16th to the 31st of this month. Payment can be conveniently made anywhere using various methods such as credit card, virtual account, internet banking, and Wetax.
