Daegu Gyeongbuk Technical High School, 10 Students Passed Last Year's Civil Service Exam... "We Will Produce More Successful Candidates in the Future"
Gyeongbuk Technical High School (Principal Park Geun-ho) announced on the 9th that it produced 10 successful candidates in the 2024 civil service examination.
Among them, 9 current students passed: 3 national positions (1 in General Machinery, 2 in Chemical Engineering), 4 local positions (1 in Seoul Architecture, 1 in Seoul Chemical Engineering, 1 in Daegu General Civil Engineering, 1 in Busan Architecture), and 2 from Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (1 in Machinery, 1 in Electricity). Additionally, 1 graduate passed as an experienced level 8 employee in Architecture at the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education, bringing the total number of successful civil service candidates to 10.

View original imageGyeongbuk Technical High School has maintained its reputation as a civil service academy by producing 57 successful candidates over the past five years, including 14 national and 43 local positions. This achievement is the result of a tailored civil service preparation program operated by general subject teachers for Korean, English, and Korean history for the national exam, as well as specialized subject teachers and the after-school physics department head for the local exam, combined with the students' efforts.
Song Seo-hyun, who recently passed the national regional talent selection, said, “I was assigned to the Ministry of Environment and want to apply my expertise to environmental projects such as water management to ensure public safety in the era of climate crisis and contribute to a sustainable future.” She added, “I am deeply grateful to the teachers who helped me achieve my dream, and now, as a public official, I will contribute to the local community and work towards building a better society.”
