Hwaseong-si to Recruit Participants for 'Village Community Resident Proposal Project' Until Next Month 14
Support of 2 Million to 10 Million KRW Provided to 48 Communities
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for the '2025 Village Community Resident Proposal Contest' to solve village problems led by residents and revitalize the community from the 13th of this month until the 14th of next month.
This project supports residents in directly identifying and solving village problems themselves, fostering a sense of community and enabling various changes in the local society.
The recruitment is divided into general contest and planned contest. The general contest is categorized into three stages: ▲Seed ▲Stem ▲Fruit. The planned contest is divided into ▲Village Network ▲Space Revitalization ▲Designated Themes.
For the designated themes, the city has set the topics as ▲Village Media ▲Connection with Residents' Autonomous Councils ▲Climate Crisis Response ▲Revitalization of Village Resources to promote village community activation.
The city plans to select a total of 48 village communities and provide project funds ranging from 2 million to 10 million KRW per community depending on the project type.
The project is open to resident groups consisting of 3 to 10 members who live or have their living area in Hwaseong City. Interested communities can submit their application forms and required documents by visiting the Communication and Autonomy Division of Hwaseong City, or by mail or email.
