Mayor Lee Jae-jun and All Suwon City Officials Take 'Integrity Pledge'
On the 9th, Lee Jae-jun, the mayor of Suwon, along with all public officials of Suwon City, took a pledge to practice integrity in administration.
Suwon City announced that Mayor Lee Jae-jun held the '1st Suwon City Saebit Integrity Meeting' with the vice mayor and heads of departments attending, where they took the pledge to practice integrity in administration.
Other public officials took the integrity pledge by department. The pledge was conducted by reading aloud the integrity administration practice pledge and then signing it.

View original imageThe main contents of the pledge include adhering to laws and principles when performing duties, leading efforts to prevent corruption and contributing to the creation of an honest public service culture; not accepting or demanding money or entertainment under any circumstances, and not gaining undue benefits during the course of duty; refraining from improper interference and instructions, and rejecting organizational cultures based on connections such as school ties, regional ties, or blood relations; prioritizing public interest over private interest, fulfilling duties of kindness and fairness to provide trusted administrative services to citizens; and thoroughly complying with and leading the practice of the Anti-Graft Act and the Code of Conduct for Public Officials.

Mayor Lee Jae-jun emphasized, "The level of integrity that citizens expect from public officials is increasing," and added, "We will work hard together with public officials to raise the level of integrity further and create an honest city."
