Up to 30 Million KRW Facility Improvement Support for Opening Parking Lots with 5 or More Spaces
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) secured a total of 85 new parking spaces over the past year through the affiliated parking lot opening project.
The affiliated parking lot opening project is a system where building owners open idle parking spaces in their building's affiliated parking lots to nearby residents, receiving incentives such as support for parking facility improvements and payment of operating revenue.
If five or more parking spaces are opened, support for parking facility improvement construction such as floor paving worth up to 30 million KRW and installation of parking barriers can be received.
Considering the regional characteristics, the district actively promoted the affiliated parking lot project mainly targeting religious facilities near residential areas with ample parking spaces on weekdays. As a result, agreements were signed with Myeonmok Church (113-18 Myeonmok-dong), Lusk Seoul Hospital (207-2 Mangu-dong), and Onnuri Church (23-1 Muk-dong), securing 85 new parking spaces.
The secured spaces are being used as open parking lots for nearby residents. Including these new parking spaces, the district currently has 1,260 open parking spaces secured.
