S-OIL CEO Anwar Al Hizazi, along with Ryu Yeol, President of Strategic Management, Jung Young-kwang, Head of New Business Division, and Lim Jong-in, Head of IT Division, visited the exhibition halls of pre-arranged domestic and international global companies including Samsung SDS, Samsung Electronics, and Microsoft. He showed great interest in the company's digital transformation strategy and the latest technology trends for new business expansion, such as hyper-automation based on AI agents showcased by Samsung SDS.
Samsung SDS plays an important role as a key partner in IT consulting and application development, including carrying out the next-generation ERP system upgrade project for S-OIL.
CEO Anwar Al Hizazi said, “By directly checking the latest products and technologies presented by global tech companies on site, I was able to feel the market environment changes combined with AI technology, and it was an opportunity to gain insight into the direction energy companies like ours should take moving forward. It also helped us review the strategic direction for creating and operating new business models amid a series of massive changes in the business environment, such as energy transition, vehicle electrification, and increased demand for clean energy sources.”
S-OIL is establishing a mega digital transformation project plan utilizing core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution and is carrying out a project to build a world-class intelligent factory system.

Additionally, it is executing a sustainable growth strategy, including the construction of the Shahin Project aimed for completion in 2026, and through ‘Vision 2035,’ it is maximizing profitability in existing business areas such as refining, petrochemicals, and lubricants, while expanding sustainable growth capabilities by entering new business fields such as hydrogen, fuel cells, and plastic recycling.
