Busan Gijang-gun announced on the 8th that starting this year, it has newly launched the mobile county newsletter ‘Gijang Saramdeul’ using KakaoTalk, making the Gijang county newsletter ‘Gijang Saramdeul’ more accessible and convenient for residents.
The county designed the Gijang county newsletter ‘Gijang Saramdeul,’ which had been published in paper newspaper format, to be viewed as an electronic medium optimized for smartphone screens with the goal of “a county newsletter in my hand that can be viewed anytime, anywhere.”
The inaugural issue of the mobile county newsletter, the ‘January 2025 issue,’ was published on the 7th. From the February issue onward, it will be published on the 5th of every month. It is composed of ▲county administration news ▲library news ▲health center news ▲notice board ▲council news, providing a clear overview of various announcements and useful lifestyle information of Gijang-gun.
The mobile county newsletter can be easily received via KakaoTalk messages on the publication date each month by searching for ‘Busan-si Gijang-gun Office’ on KakaoTalk and adding the channel. County Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, “We have introduced the digitally converted county newsletter to residents to provide resident-centered county administration information and enhance residents’ right to know,” adding, “We will actively communicate with residents through various media channels.”

It publishes 87,700 copies on the 1st of every month and delivers them door-to-door to approximately 80,000 households in the region.
