Gwangju Medical Association Delivers Donation for Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign
Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 8th that the Gwangju Medical Association (President Choi Jeongseop) participated in the 'Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign' and donated 27.82 million KRW.
The donation ceremony, held the previous day at the grand banquet hall of Ramada Plaza Chungjang Hotel, was attended by Choi Jeongseop, President of the Gwangju Medical Association, Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, and related officials.
Since 2003, the Gwangju Medical Association has been engaged in various social contribution activities through the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, including supporting undernourished children, providing scholarships to children from multicultural families, and supporting the establishment of the Gwangju Clinic in Cambodia. The donated funds will be used to support crime victims and medically vulnerable groups.
Choi Jeongseop, President of the Gwangju Medical Association, said, "To mark the New Year, we donated funds to deliver hope to crime victims and medically vulnerable groups facing difficulties," and added, "We will continue to be an association that shares warmth and love with the local community."
Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "We are grateful to the Gwangju Medical Association for their donation to help neighbors in need," and added, "We will make sure the donations are delivered to the families of victims and neighbors in medical blind spots who need assistance."
