Timefolio Asset Management Surpasses 1 Trillion KRW in Net Assets for Active ETFs
Timefolio Asset Management announced on the 8th that the net asset value of 13 TIMEFOLIO Active ETFs has surpassed 1 trillion KRW.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of the 7th, the combined net assets of the 13 TIMEFOLIO Active ETFs were recorded at 1.0091 trillion KRW. This achievement was reached three years after the first ETF listing in May 2021.
Among domestic active ETF specialized asset managers, Timefolio Asset Management is the only firm to exceed a total net asset value of 1 trillion KRW. The achievement is drawing industry attention as it was accomplished solely with equity ETFs, without bond or interest rate ETFs.
Known as a "hedge fund powerhouse," Timefolio Asset Management has demonstrated its management capabilities by delivering results that surpass leveraged ETFs with its S&P 500 Active and Nasdaq 100 Active ETFs, which can be invested in through pension accounts. It was the first in Korea to list an active ETF investing in the artificial intelligence (AI) industry, and has launched ETFs reflecting various growth industries and investor demands, such as the space industry and consumer trends.
Kim Nam-ui, Head of the ETF Division at Timefolio Asset Management, emphasized, "Timefolio is always a learning asset manager," adding, "We do not simply follow a business model but study to find the best companies at the current time and ETFs that customers need."
He continued, "Thanks to the recognition from many investors for our efforts, we were able to achieve AUM of 1 trillion KRW," and added, "We will continue to study tirelessly so that investors can trust and invest in Timefolio Asset Management."
