Seoul Subway Line 1 experienced a temporary suspension of service due to an electrical failure, causing inconvenience to commuters.
According to Korea Railroad Corporation, at around 4:25 PM on the 7th, an electrical supply line malfunction occurred at Chang-dong Station on Line 1. As a result, train operations in both directions between Sinimun Station and Chang-dong Station were halted.
Train service resumed at approximately 5:01 PM after emergency measures were completed on site.

A Korail official stated, "Ten trains were affected by the disruption, experiencing delays ranging from 15 to 35 minutes," and added, "We plan to investigate the detailed cause of the failure."
