60s Father Urgently Arrested for Wielding Weapon During Fight with Son
A man in his 60s was arrested by the police after wielding a weapon against his son during an argument.
On the 7th, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced that they had urgently arrested Mr. A, a man in his 60s, on suspicion of attempted murder.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing his son in the back with a weapon during a dispute at their home in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, around 3 p.m. on the 6th. The son was urgently transported to the hospital and was confirmed to be in stable condition.
During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated, "I wielded the weapon because my son resisted." It was also confirmed that Mr. A was neither under the influence of alcohol nor drugs at the time.
