The training is organized as a joint effort by four universities in the Jeonbuk region (Jeonju University, Jeonbuk National University, Wonkwang University, and Woosuk University). A total of 25 outstanding students participating in the LINC 3.0 project from each university, including Kim Jinwoo, a student from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Jeonju University who won the grand prize (President of the National Research Foundation of Korea Award) at the CDS Big Data National Competition, were selected to participate along with five staff members.
In particular, by attending CES 2025, which features 4,312 companies from 160 countries, and exploring Silicon Valley, participants will have the opportunity to directly experience and learn about the trends and changes in global advanced information technology. They will also visit Silicon Valley, Stanford University, and other key sites of the world's leading advanced technology industries. After returning to Korea, a global training report session will be held.
Kim Jinwoo, a student from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Jeonju University who participated in this training, said, "I am grateful for the opportunity to experience advanced industries such as AI, autonomous driving, and mobility. I hope to learn about the qualities required of future innovative talent and grow into a globally creative and convergent IT professional."
