Former Gwangju FC Defender Noh Haengseok Passes Away
No Haengseok, a founding member of Gwangju FC, passed away on the 1st after battling cancer, according to his family. He was 36 years old.
Born in Yeonggwang, Jeonnam, the late No Haengseok began playing football at Gokseong Okgwa Elementary School in 2000 and continued his career at Yeosu Gubong Middle School, Kwangwoon Technical High School, and Dongguk University.
He joined Gwangju FC as a center-back defender in 2011, the club's inaugural year in the professional league.
He played for Daegu FC in 2013, Busan IPark in 2015, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia in 2019, and then for Gyeongju Hwasuwon from 2020 to 2021 before retiring.
