Daegu's Largest Market Cap Company is Korea Gas Corporation, 2nd is L&F... Daegu Chamber of Commerce Analyzes 55 Listed Corporations
The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Park Yoon-kyung) analyzed the market capitalization status (as of December 30, the stock market closing day) of 55 listed companies in the Daegu area (22 on KOSPI, 33 on KOSDAQ), and on the 2nd, it was revealed that the market capitalization of local listed companies in 2024 is 17.36 trillion KRW, a decrease of 24.6% or 5.6722 trillion KRW compared to 2023.
The main reason for the decrease in market capitalization is that the market cap of L&F Co., Ltd., the top company in Daegu's market cap in 2023, decreased by 60.2%, or 4.4546 trillion KRW compared to the previous year.
The top spot in market capitalization was taken by Korea Gas Corporation. L&F Co., Ltd. ranked second, down one step, followed by Isu Petasys Co., Ltd., SL Corporation, DGB Financial Group Co., Ltd., and CIS Co., Ltd. Korea BNC Co., Ltd., which was ranked 12th last year, entered the TOP 10 for the first time at 9th place.

The company with the largest increase in market capitalization was also Korea Gas Corporation (up 923.2 billion KRW), followed by Heungkuk Oil Co., Ltd. (up 67.4 billion KRW), T'way Air Co., Ltd. (up 37.1 billion KRW), Korea BNC Co., Ltd. (up 30.5 billion KRW), and Hwaseong Valve Co., Ltd. (up 19.3 billion KRW).
