STEPI, Organizational Restructuring to Enhance Research Productivity
The Science and Technology Policy Institute (hereinafter STEPI, President Yoon Ji-woong) announced on the 2nd that it has reorganized its structure from the previous 4 headquarters, 4 centers, 6 research groups, and 1 office into 1 headquarters, 3 centers, and 4 offices, and made related personnel changes to strengthen research productivity and break down barriers between departments.
STEPI has transformed the previous 'Research Headquarters-Research Group' structure into the 'System Innovation Office,' 'Innovation Growth Office,' and 'Global Strategy Office,' introducing an 'Agile Team' system that allows researchers interested in specific topics (such as space, technology regulation, etc.) to participate regardless of their affiliated department, aiming for change.
The former 'Strategic Planning and Management Headquarters' has been reorganized into the 'Planning and Management Headquarters,' with the 'Future Strategy Team' and 'External Cooperation Team' merged into the 'Planning Coordination Team,' and the 'Human Resources Management Team' and 'Operations Support Team' reorganized into the 'Human Resources and General Affairs Team.'
Along with the organizational restructuring, STEPI conducted the following major personnel appointments.
