Gyeonggi-do Operates 'Value Sharing Plus Garden'... Provides Harvested Crops to Vulnerable Groups
Fresh agricultural products harvested from urban farms in Gyeonggi Province will be delivered to vulnerable groups within the province through the 'Food Bank'.
On the 31st, Gyeonggi Province signed a business agreement for the 'Value Sharing Plus Garden' project with the Gyeonggi Urban Agriculture Citizens' Council and the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Council at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office.
According to the agreement, agricultural products produced at 12 urban farms in 8 regions operated by the Gyeonggi Urban Agriculture Citizens' Council will be donated to the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Council (Gyeonggi Metropolitan Food Bank) and delivered to vulnerable groups using the Food Bank system.
