View original imageEight members of the Special Rescue Team 3, selected as 'Lifesavers,' were recognized for their merit in rescuing a woman in her 60s who fell 2 to 3 meters while rock climbing at Yeomchobong Peak in Bukhansan in October. Despite difficult conditions such as nighttime and bad weather, they provided emergency treatment with bivouac and transported her by helicopter. The members involved were Jeong Jong-man, Lee Seong-hyeong, Kim Yun-won, Lim Seong-hee, Han Dae-man, Lee Sang-gwang, Yoo Chang-jun, and Lee Jeong-hyeon.
Additionally, Jo Jang-won, Oh Moon-gyeong, Yoon Jin-yong, and Lee Jeong-hyeon received commendations for their outstanding performance in the second half of the year, as well as contributions to firefighting equipment and fire safety education.
This award ceremony was organized to acknowledge and encourage the dedicated efforts and achievements of the members of the Gyeonggi-do Northern Special Response Team, motivating their frontline activities at disaster sites.
