The support target is about 40,000 mothers who complete birth registration in the province from January 1, 2025 (based on the birth registration date).
The domestic livestock product packages provided to mothers are composed of 1 to 4 types, allowing mothers to choose. Next year, the price will be set within 100,000 KRW, double the 50,000 KRW of this year, reflecting the current inflation, and the packages will be delivered to the location requested by the mother.
Applications can be submitted online through the Gyeonggi Civil Service 24 website, or in person by visiting the administrative welfare centers of each city and county.
The participating cities and counties in the project are 26 cities and counties excluding Suwon, Seongnam, Uijeongbu, Goyang, and Bucheon.
Online applications for the 2025 Mom-Tun-Tun Livestock Product Package Support will begin in March, with start dates varying by city and county, so inquiries can be made to the livestock departments of each city and county.
Shin Jong-kwang, head of the Livestock Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, “We hope this will ease the burden on livestock farmers who are struggling with falling livestock product prices and high production costs, and help mothers in the province recover their health quickly.”
