Dr. Im Yeonsu Appointed as New President of Myongji University: "Contributing to Education Policy and University Management"
Term of Office for 3 Years Starting January 1st Next Year
Myongji Foundation held a board meeting on the 26th and appointed Dr. Lim Yeon-su as the 13th president of Myongji University. The new president's term will begin on January 1st next year and last for three years.
President Lim graduated from the College of Engineering at Seoul National University and earned his master's and doctoral degrees in engineering from Clemson University in the United States. Since being appointed as a professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Myongji University's College of Engineering in 1995, he has served as the director of the Graduate School Academic Affairs Office, chairman of the University Innovation Support Project Steering Committee, director of the Education Support Office, and vice president for academic affairs.
