Mapo-gu, Songpa-gu, and Eunpyeong-gu Cancel New Year's Day Sunrise Events
Mapo-gu announced on the 30th that it will cancel the planned '2025 Red Road Countdown Event' from 9 PM on December 31 to 12:30 AM on January 1, 2025, as well as the official '2025 Sky Park Sunrise Festival' event on January 1, 2025.
However, convenience facilities (resident rest areas, beverage booths, medical headquarters, fire trucks, and ambulances on standby) will be set up at Sky Park for people coming to watch the sunrise on January 1, and safety management will be ensured.
Songpa-gu has canceled the main event for the 2025 New Year's celebration. However, small-scale programs (▲writing New Year's calligraphy ▲sharing traditional tea and New Year's rice cakes) will be held for local residents who wish to enjoy the sunrise.
