Woori Bank to Indefinitely Extend Suspension of Non-Face-to-Face Personal Loans
Woori Bank announced on the 30th that it has decided to indefinitely extend the suspension of sales for 12 types of personal credit loan products through non-face-to-face channels.
The products include Excellent Partner Company Credit Loan (PPL), Woori First Salary Credit Loan, Woori WON Workplace Loan, Woori WON Plus Workplace Loan, Woori Main Transaction Workplace Loan, Woori WON Refinancing Workplace Loan, Corporate Employee Group Loan, Veteran Preferential Loan, Woori Dream Car Loan, WON Easy Living Expense Loan, Woori Special Loan (including refinancing), and Credit Loan Recommendation Service (including refinancing).
The original suspension period was from October 30th until the end of this year, but Woori Bank has extended it indefinitely until “further notice.”

Woori Bank stated, “To ensure stable household debt management, we are limiting loan issuance through non-face-to-face channels (WON Banking, Internet Banking).” They added, “If the product is not exclusively for non-face-to-face channels, new loans can be issued face-to-face at branches.”
