Over 1.24 Million Tourists Used Incheon Port This Year... Highest Since COVID-19
The number of domestic and international tourists using Incheon Port this year exceeded 1.24 million, marking the highest figure since the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Incheon Port Authority (IPA) on the 30th, as of the 26th, the total number of tourists using the Incheon Port passenger terminal was 1,240,722. This represents a 27.8% increase compared to last year's total of 970,713 tourists, achieving the best performance since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020.
This year, the number of tourists by vessel type was 352,869 for the Korea-China international ferry, 25,140 for cruises, and 862,713 for coastal passenger ships.

View original imageThe cruise passenger performance included a total of 15 calls, including 5 homeport calls linking the port and airport, showing a 102.7% increase compared to last year (12,403 → 25,140). Next year, a total of 32 calls are scheduled, and IPA plans to strengthen homeport expansion marketing to become an Asian hub cruise port.
The Korea-China international passenger service, connecting sea routes, operated six routes this year following the reopening of the Dalian route in April, recording 350,000 Korea-China ferry passengers due to attracting Chinese MICE tourists.
