When users point their camera around using the Home Appliance QR Mode, nearby home appliances are automatically recognized, and the location of the QR code attached to the recognized appliance is described in 32 languages via voice.
The Home Appliance QR Mode can distinguish and recognize 5,895 models across 12 product categories, including refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and air purifiers, released by Samsung Electronics from 2022 through last September, based on trained data.
Ewona, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics' DA Division, said, "We plan to continuously expand the supported languages and products so that more users can utilize the Home Appliance QR Mode. We will continue our efforts to enhance the accessibility of each product so that everyone can conveniently use Samsung Electronics home appliances."
