Oh Se-hoon: "Impeachment Addict Lee Jae-myung Doesn't Care About the People"
"Democratic Party, 'Impeachment Factory'... Unprecedented 'Daedaehaeng' System"
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon criticized the passage of the impeachment motion against Acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo in the National Assembly on the 27th, saying, "'Impeachment addict' Lee Jae-myung has no regard for the people."
On the same day, Mayor Oh wrote on his Facebook, "The Democratic Party ultimately passed the impeachment motion against Prime Minister Han Duck-soo as well," adding, "In the 35-year history of the Constitutional Court, there have been only seven impeachment cases, but Lee Jae-myung's Democratic Party has produced nine cases just this year, becoming an 'impeachment factory.'"
He continued, "Now they are even impeaching the acting president, heralding an unprecedented 'great acting' system in world history," and questioned, "Is lawlessness, absence of governance, and legislative-only dictatorship the dream of Representative Lee Jae-myung?"
He further stated, "Wearing the guise of democratic procedures while destroying 'substantive democracy' is the anti-democratic reality of 'impeachment addict' Lee Jae-myung," and declared, "Lee Jae-myung has no regard for the people. Therefore, he has no future."
On the same day, the National Assembly held a secret ballot on the impeachment motion against Acting President Han, which was passed with 192 votes in favor out of 192 votes cast. Since the People Power Party had set 'rejection' as the party line at a morning caucus, most of its members abstained from voting.
