Gwangju City Secures 2.9 Billion KRW in Special Grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety
Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 27th that it has secured 2.9 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for the second half of the year.
The 2.9 billion KRW in special grants secured by Gwangju City from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety will be used for a total of seven projects. The detailed breakdown is as follows: ▲ Installation of streetlights in Taejeon-dong (200 million KRW) ▲ 2024 Gwangju City high-crime area CCTV installation project (400 million KRW) ▲ Creation of Songjeongnam Neighborhood Park (600 million KRW) ▲ Maintenance work on disaster prevention facilities in Gosan and Maesan (300 million KRW) ▲ Installation of riverbank entry blocking facilities (300 million KRW) ▲ Repair and reinforcement work on Usan 1 Bridge (700 million KRW) ▲ Creation of a walking trail along Gonjiam Stream (400 million KRW).
