Cho Seung-moon Appointed as 2nd Deputy Mayor of Hwaseong City
Newly Established with the Launch of Special City Status
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province has appointed Cho Seung-moon (63), the city's policy advisor, as the first Second Deputy Mayor. Cho's term as the new deputy mayor will begin on January 1 next year and last for two years.
The newly established Second Deputy Mayor position, created in line with the launch of the special city status, will oversee tasks such as media and public relations, business, agriculture and marine affairs, culture and education, parks and green spaces, and external cooperation.

He has held positions including Vice President of Management at KINTEX, Non-executive Director at Korea Energy Agency, CEO of ID Communication, and CEO of Myungin Marketing. Based on his extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, he is recognized for his strong execution skills as well as excellent organizational management abilities.
